Spectrum's new-customer 1 Gig price rises after the first year, to about $95 a month plus about $5 for Wi-Fi (published price trackers, September 2026). Many older Spectrum plans went up another $10 in July 2026. Fios through me is $65, then $80, locked for 5 years.

Before you pick an internet provider, check if Fios reaches your new address. If it does, you start at $65/mo with the price locked for 5 years, and I'll schedule the install around your move.

What people ask me
When do I pay?
Nothing up front. Your first bill comes after install. Verizon bills a month ahead, so the first bill is bigger: the days since install plus the next month. If your address gets free months, you don't pay until the third billing cycle.
What if I change my mind?
You can cancel within 3 days after install for a full refund. Return the Verizon equipment and you're done.
Do I have to meet you in person?
No. We can do the whole thing on a 15-minute video call. If you'd rather meet, I'll come to your home anywhere in the Capital Region. Your choice.
How do I cancel Spectrum?
After Fios is working, call Spectrum or visit a Spectrum Store, and return their modem and router. I'll walk you through it.
Can I keep my Spectrum email?
Spectrum says your email keeps working for 60 days after you cancel internet, then it can be deleted. Save what you need and move to a free Gmail or Outlook address before then.
Is there a contract?
No annual contract. Verizon guarantees the plan price for 5 years. That covers the base monthly rate, not add-ons like extra equipment or perks.
Can I use my own router?
Yes. A Verizon router is included, but you can use your own.
Do you have Fios TV?
Not in Clifton Park yet. Verizon is going through the town and state approvals there. Elsewhere in the Capital Region, I'll check your address. Many people stream, or keep TV separate.
Why not just order on Verizon.com?
You can. It's $80/mo there, plus a $99 setup fee unless you have Mobile + Home. Through me it's $65 the first year, no setup fee, and I handle it with you. Even after Verizon.com's $200 gift card, you come out about $129 ahead in the first year. See the side-by-side.
